Interact Club Installaton at Anjuman School

Installation of the Interact Club at Anjuman Nurul Islam High School We are pleased to announce the official installation of the Interact Club at Anjuman Nurul Islam High School The ceremony was presided over by the Installation Officer, Rtn. Nester Sequeira , marking the beginning of a new chapter of service for the student body. We congratulate the newly appointed Board of Directors for their leadership: • President : Sameera Parveen • Secretary : Nakhiya • Treasurer : Ayaan Ahmed Vice President: Urooj Fatima. It Was Heartening to See The Good Work Done by Past President Arshad in the field of Waste Management , Tree Plantation and Intra School Competitions On this occasion, Rtn Nester Sequeira Contributed a sum of Rs 5000 Towards seed funding for an Environmental Based project with Maka Naka Plastic to the Club President . We look forward to seeing the positive impact this team will make in our community through their commitment to the spirit of "Service Above Self."

Distress Helpline Set Up for Suicide Prevention

Rotray Club of Panaji in association with Cooj Mental Health Foundation has set up a Distress Helpline In 2024 . in the last 30 months The helpline has received 4700 calls out of which 86 calls were High Risk Level 3 Suicide . The 14 Volunteers at Cooj have managed to interact with these people and Help save lives . Rotary Club of Panaji Supported this ongoing Project with a Grant of Rs 20000 for their annual Call Center expenses
